This latest attempt by the unions to attract the attention of workers to join their movement is a minefield for anyone who employs apprentices (“Union push to raise pay for teens”).
As a business owner and employer of more than 40 apprentices over 28 years – and having raised four kids now – I understand the pressures of low wages for young people. I went through this myself.
