Following the Federal Budget the first consideration for every investor will be whether they are caught by the new superannuation rules.

The best idea would be to get investment advice from whichever expert in Canberra calculated that $1.6m was an adequate fortune to last a retiree for the last 20 years or so of his life. It might not have been anyone who lives in the real world, however.
