Sydney lost a lockdown lottery
We made our bed when we continued to allow exempted international arrivals into a makeshift hotel quarantine system and now we have to lie in it.

The most important decision taken to date was the closure of the international border in March 2020. This cut off the proliferation of the virus by reducing international arrivals by more than 99 per cent.
