Sydneysiders face a one-week delay to regional travel from Monday if NSW reaches the key milestone of 80 per cent of over-16s fully vaccinated this weekend.

Regional travel was meant to be included in the raft of freedoms granted the first Monday after hitting the 80 per cent target, which is projected for Sunday.
