Given most of Chris Barrett’s career was aided by political connections, will he feel free to criticise the Labor government?

The recipient’s identity wasn’t disclosed. But Swan’s chief-of-staff, Chris Barrett, left the government shortly after the 2010 election, which was held on August 21.
