Labor needs to listen to its reform legends again
The frequent references to reform heroes just underscore the message at the BCA dinner that government and business need each other.
It’s a sign of the economic reform drought that’s now lasted for more than 20 years that the likes of Paul Keating, John Howard, Peter Costello and Bill Kelty are frequently quoted in stories to illustrate a lack of ambition in modern politics.
