Commonwealth Bank chief executive Matt Comyn believes the Team Australia spirit of collaboration between business and the government that shone during the nation’s pandemic response can be harnessed to drive Australia’s economic recovery.

It was a level of co-operation rarely seen in Australia, replacing an often adversarial relationship between business and government – and between business rivals – from the early days of the coronavirus outbreak.
