I am an American expat, with dual US and Australian citizenship. My daughters and I vote in US elections. I follow US politics from the comfort of my Australian perch, happy to be living overseas.
During the last US election, for the life of me, I could not understand letting an admitted sexual predator into the White House. However, many of my Australian friends and acquaintances turned a blind ear to these truths and thought Trump was great before the election.
