ASIC boss warns of ‘risky’ crypto investments

Australian Securities and Investments Commission chairman Joseph Longo has warned that retail investors face potentially large losses on risky crypto assets and dodgy managed investment schemes that will be exposed during big market sell-offs.

Mr Longo said more people should seek financial advice before allocating too much money into riskier assets that they don’t understand.
