Who your broker calls first: Meet the ASX's new power players

When a broker needed to raise money over the past decade, Perpetual, Colonial or BT Investment Management were typically the first names on any call sheet, but they now have some stiff competition.

In one of the largest shifts in power since the introduction of compulsory superannuation in 1992, the big industry and public sector funds are now the ones in line for the first call.
