Kumova has partial win over Swami in injunction claim

Mining entrepreneur Tolga Kumova had a partial win in a suit seeking an injunction permanently restraining self-styled sharemarket cop and defamation defendant Alan Davison from tweeting about him because of the risk of further damage to his reputation.

Justice Lee of the Federal Court on Friday ordered that Mr Davison – better known by his Twitter handle Stock Swami – be barred from tweeting about Mr Kumova in relation to any circumstances that occurred prior to the date of the injunction’s grant.
