Inflation, iron ore concerns send ASX 1.9pc lower

Rising inflation fears and concerns about Australia’s iron ore supply to China rattled the sharemarket, sparking the biggest sell-off since February 26.
The S&P/ASX 200 Index plummeted 134.3 points, or 1.9 per cent, to 6931.7, dragging the sharemarket to its lowest level since early April.
