ASX rises for second week running

A rebound in commodity prices and an upbeat second-quarter GDP result have pushed the Australian sharemarket higher for a second week running.
The S&P/ASX 200 Index climbed 34.6 points, or 0.5 per cent, to 7522.9, recovering from a midweek dip and rising 37.2 points, or 0.5 per cent, on Friday.
