Washington DC | US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will not attend talks in London aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said on Tuesday, after earlier saying he planned to travel to London.
The news comes as The Washington Post reported that the United States was proposing to recognise Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea and freeze the war’s front lines as part of a peace agreement.
