The chief executive of electric vehicle fast charging station manufacturer Tritium DCFC predicts about 80 per cent of charging of EVs will be done at home by motorists, but there is still a vast amount of revenue for companies building charging infrastructure in the community.
Tritium, a Brisbane group backed by coal and energy entrepreneur Trevor St Baker, who upped his stake to 24.8 per cent in the December quarter, listed on the Nasdaq exchange a year ago. But its share price has been under severe pressure, falling from $US9.14 in mid-August to $US1.31 on Friday, and some large investors have sold out.
