In its continued effort to put out the raging fire that is the loss of almost 10 million people’s personal data, Optus has quietly begun cancelling events at which its staff were set to speak or publicly appear. This “see no evil, speak no evil” strategy is in play to fight misinformation, per Optus’ spokeswoman.
