Macquarie nabs ex-RBA boss Glenn Stevens as chairman

The market has welcomed the appointment of former Reserve Bank of Australia governor Glenn Stevens as chairman of Macquarie, one of the most prestigious roles in the country.
Mr Stevens will assume the chairman mantle of Macquarie Group and Macquarie Bank at the annual general meeting in May, as Australia’s biggest asset manager and the world’s biggest infrastructure investor extends its strong growth trajectory.
