London | BHP chief executive Mike Henry has ruled out following Andrew Forrest’s Fortescue Metals into green hydrogen to support green steel production because, he says, “we don’t believe that that would be a good use of BHP shareholder capital”.
Mr Henry also told a Financial Times conference late on Thursday (AEDT) that he expects Australia and China will gradually repair their fractured relationship, saying BHP’s ties with Chinese customers and suppliers have “never been stronger”.
