His ascension to assistant minister for industry, energy and emissions reduction in Scott Morrison’s latest Christian Porter-induced reshuffle means Wilson will cease chairing the House of Representatives economics committee. Which is as powerful as it’s been, in large part due to Wilson’s unorthodox and energetic tactics as chairman.
