Australians look set be allowed to travel to New Zealand without undergoing quarantine from next month, as Jacinda Ardern confirmed plans to restart the two-way travel bubble. 

Following cabinet discussions on Monday, the New Zealand Prime Minister said she would announce a start date for the long-awaited trans-Tasman scheme on April 6.
