Construction, textile waste targeted in 'circular economy' push

The federal government is preparing a major push to drive down waste from building and demolition projects, as well as encouraging Australians to throw away fewer textiles, says Environment Minister Sussan Ley.
Launching a new report on the role of business in Australia's circular economy, Ms Ley said textile waste, including the disposal of clothes, would be among her key priorities for environmental progress into 2021.
