Washington | Donald Trump has all but conceded the 2020 presidential election after backing the formal transition of the US government to Joe Biden's incoming administration.
More than nine days after the election was declared lost, Mr Trump said in a tweet late on Monday (Tuesday AEDT) that he has recommended the official in charge of triggering the transition to "do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same."
