Why the new Ferrari Roma is causing a stir
The Italian car maker has 'reimagined' the clean lines of its '60s classics for a new age of 'understated luxury' and it is attracting plenty of comments.
An example of the curvaceous Ferrari Roma coupé is now on a sales tour around Australia, before its launch here early next year.
It’s a static exhibit, with its flash new electronics set to demo mode so it can scroll through various party tricks. The new “dual cockpit” interior has the biggest, clearest instrument display yet on a Ferrari, and shows the strongest embrace yet of smartphone-like, touch-sensitive controls. And the engine sounds terrific.
