Dispute fixes key to WTO overhaul, says former Trump official

Washington | The Trump administration will likely insist on an overhaul of the World Trade Organisation's dispute settlement system to make it faster and more responsive to the changing realities of the global economy, says a top former White House trade official.
Clete Willems, Donald Trump's former lead "sherpa" at G7 and G20 summits, said the US would also push for broader changes that curb the preferential treatment enjoyed by "developing economies" such as China and India.
