Indonesia and Australia could deploy a joint peacekeeping force and engage with India in trilateral maritime exercises as the two countries seek new ways to deepen their relationship.
The new defence possibilities were discussed in Bali on Friday when Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne and Defence Minister Linda Reynolds met their Indonesian counterparts, Retno Marsudi and Prabowo Subianto.
