Defence Minister gets frank with French over submarine build

Defence Minister Linda Reynolds has reminded her French counterpart to ensure Australian industry involvement in building the next fleet of submarines is maximised, amid lingering concerns France is trying to lock in work for its local suppliers.
Defence industry sources say there are worrying indicators that Australian companies could miss out on work with the submarine's French government-owned designer-builder Naval Group.
