The joy, guilt and anger of a returned Australian
The ‘breaking, there is one case of coronavirus’ news flash makes me want to buy a truckload of perspective and hand it out when I am released from quarantine.
Melanie BrockContributorHello Australia. It’s nice to be home – well, nearly home. I am still in quarantine (day 12 and counting!). It has been a year since I was last here. So much has changed and yet nothing much has changed. Oh, Australia.
For someone who doesn’t often sit still, being forced to stay in the one place for two weeks has been interesting. It has given me the chance to reflect and read. I have had a lot of time to think about my home here and my other home in Japan.
