Azimut, Sunseeker, Ferretti, Princess: the brand names are almost as pretty as the yachts. You'll see them all at the Sydney International Boat Show, which runs from August 2 to 6. This year celebrates 50 years since the show was first held in 1968 at Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, before moving to Pyrmont, then Darling Harbour.
Ray White Marine sales director Brock Rodwell anoints Brett Blundy's Cloud 9, built in the Ferretti Group shipyard by CRN and launched last year in Italy, as a show standout. "It's amazing from all angles," says Rodwell, who handles the Ferretti account in Australia.
