The hosts of the 2024 Summer Olympics pledged to make the river safe enough for swimming events. It’s proving harder than expected.
An electric delivery boat pushes up the Seine, past the former palaces and elegant museums and under the low-slung stone and metal bridges before turning at the Eiffel Tower and gliding to the riverbank.
