Luxe Shoalhaven resort raises the bar with top-notch restaurant
The curated experiences offered by Bangalay Luxury Villas are designed to show guests there’s more to the NSW South Coast than summer beach holidays – and then there’s the food.
If there are any doubts about who Bangalay Luxury Villas is aimed at, the Tesla charging stations in the car park will put them to rest. Just minutes’ walk from Seven Mile Beach – wild, untouched and blowing a gale the day we arrive – Bangalay sets the standard in eco-luxury accommodation on the South Coast, with the emphasis firmly on luxury.
It has just 16 villas (two with two bedrooms, the rest with one), a restaurant under new chefs that focuses on native Australian ingredients (see below) and a picturesque pool set off by wooden decking and a giant blackbutt tree.
