Watching my children splash in the pool of a Santorini clifftop hotel under an indigo sky, nibbling on lemon-drizzled octopus as I did so, seemed utterly surreal.

Come to think of it, this Cycladic cinematic setting is pretty surreal at any time. But it was especially so in June 2020.
