Australians stranded on luxury cruise in Greenland
Ninety Australians on a luxury cruise liner that has become bogged off the remote coast of Greenland are likely to remain stranded until the ship can be refloated on Friday.
While the multimillion-dollar cruise industry has surged back to life following the pandemic, the 206 passengers aboard the MV Ocean Explorer received a rude shock on Monday when the ship ran aground in Alpefjord, a national park some 1400 kilometres north-east of Greenland’s capital Nuuk.
