Alan Joyce is keeping his eye fixed on the far horizon. The world or bust by October! Along with cheap fares and the end of hotel quarantine to try to get Australians back to international travel, 7500 more Qantas employees back to work and the airline back to profit.

Qantas expects to reach 40 per cent of its previous international operations by next financial year.
