Sydney’s floating tiny hotel is open for bookings again after burning down less than two years ago on the Pittwater in a fire caused by an “external ignition source” (an errant cigarette butt is implicated, although investigations failed to turn up definitive evidence).

Shaped like a Scandinavian barn house, with a steeply pitched roof and arched gable windows, Lilypad floats on a pontoon moored slightly apart from the sleek yachts at Palm Beach Anchorage like a fairytale sore thumb.
