The high price of fanaticism over Burgundy wines
What I'm about to say is tantamount to vinicultural sacrilege; words worthy of excommunication from the church of wine worship. You see, your correspondent does not swoon at the mention of names such as Armand Rousseau or Dauvissat; nor get all misty-eyed at the invocation of the words Raveneau and Romanée-Conti.
It's not that I'm immune to the complex charms of Burgundy in all its forms, it's just that I'm not as driven to vinous madness by them as some.
