Can a fashion editor go an entire year without buying a single piece of clothing? I don’t know the answer yet, but I am determined to find out.

I love a New Year’s resolution. The feeling of wiping the slate, promising to improve oneself, resolving to do better by increments: these are all extremely appealing to me, a Type A perfectionist since kindergarten and likely prior.
