Australian fashion start-up AirRobe will on Friday launch a new program to keep used clothing out of landfill, partnering with 10 Australian retailers to allow customers to access past purchase information and add items to a virtual “robe” for resale or rental.
AirRobe allows users to store details of their purchases, including images and detailed descriptions of the items, at the point of sale. The new feature, launched with partners including P E Nation, Viktoria & Woods and Mode Sportif, allows consumers to access their past purchase data as well.
