It might seem a strange time to be launching a holiday-ready collection when none of us are going anywhere much. But for Greek-born, London-based designer Mary Katrantzou, whose dazzling prints, demi-couture details and signature "lampshade" silhouette are something of a spiritual balm, it has turned out to be the perfect moment.

Last month, Katrantzou launched Mary Mare, a seasonless, resort wear-focused collection that will appear throughout the year and not be tied to any particular schedule. It will run in parallel with her main line, but is less expensive than the Mary Katrantzou brand and has extended sizing, running to a 24.
