The auction in question, Australia Jewels: Behind Closed Doors, being held on May 27, is the first jewellery event by Bonhams Australia to have been designed with COVID-19 in mind. No bidders will be present in the Woollahra auction room; instead, proceedings will be live-streamed on the Bonhams website.
