Why the DB12 is the Aston Martin you’ve been waiting for
“The world’s first super tourer” resembles the DB11, but the telematics, advanced driver assistance systems and more make it an entirely new car.
Aston Martin’s long-running series of DB “grand tourer” coupes has clicked over from 11 to 12.
At the same time, the maximum cylinder count has dropped from 12 to eight. All versions now use the Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V8 found in the Vantage, DBX and, previously, cheaper versions of the DB11.
