According to Travis Auld, if you’re doing your job properly, you should always be awake at night worrying about something.

For the chief executive officer of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, that something is not that Formula 1 has already peaked in popularity, as some believe. His chief worry is keeping it on the road, given the cost of hosting global events is skyrocketing. “It has grown significantly since COVID,” he says. “So our ability to try and manage pricing and keep the event accessible is something we’re very focused on.”
