Luxury motor yachts are becoming larger by the year but, thanks to new technology, more owners are handling them without a crew.

As a perfect example, Queensland’s Maritimo has just launched the M75, a long-distance cruiser a notch short of a superyacht, and chief executive Tom Barry-Cotter insists the vast majority of buyers will take the helm themselves.
