Mercedes-AMG rolls out the crystal ball: the future’s all-electric
Last year, at just 40 years of age, Michael Schiebe was put in charge of Benz’s high-performance (and highly profitable) division. He tells us the aim is to satisfy every client’s wish.
If there is one thing Michael Schiebe is certain about, it’s that Mercedes-AMG will continue to meet the needs of its customers.
It that means big capacity combustion engines, so be it. And if it means plenty of noise, even with an electric drivetrain, AMG is going to be there for them too. “We will still work on, and launch, combustion engines [but] we need to keep making them more efficient,” Schiebe says.
