An SUV blended with a sedan? That’s this new electric Porsche
The Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo, an off-road version of the prestige car maker’s green flagship, is a bit of a jacked-up beast, and the more you jack it up, the bigger and heavier it looks.
The Porsche Taycan, the company’s first electric model (and proof for competitors of just how good an electric sports machine can be), now has a sibling.
Called the Cross Turismo and newly on sale in Australia, it is based on the “Concept Study Mission E Cross Turismo” shown in 2018. As such, it’s a curious SUV-style adaptation of a low-slung sedan, with a wagon-tail, beefy wheel-arch trims, tougher looking front and rear aprons, and off-road side sills.
