My first thought on encountering a video of an “ocean alien” across my TikTok feed is that it’s an AI hoax.
The strange, rigid, skeletal disc floats ominously in the frame, and then suddenly relaxes into a cloaked orb, adorned with what appear to be undulating lights flashing along equidistant ridges. It’s certainly creepy.
