Where did all the Jeffrey Smart paintings go?

The thorny question of where to hang a newly purchased artwork to its best advantage was easily solved by one Australian couple after they bought a Jeffrey Smart oil painting from the artist’s Brisbane dealer, Philip Bacon, in 2016.
The couple transported their new purchase to Italy and hung it in pride of place in their 17th-century Tuscan farmhouse, which had been the artist’s home for many decades until recently.
