U2 are back, and the Irish rock band delivered spectacle as big as ever when they played their 1987 album The Joshua Tree at Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday.
It wouldn't be a U2 tour without records being broken. The stage that the four Dubliners had built for their last shows here in 2010, with a claw-like rig towering 50 metres above, is still the largest ever constructed.
