British diver Tom Daley reached two milestones on Monday. First, he won silver for his 10m synchronised platform dive with teammate Noah Williams. Second, he finished a top he has been knitting on the pool sidelines: a baggy blue jumper with a white Eiffel Tower on the front, union jacks around the hem, and D-A-L-E-Y picked out on the back.

Daley’s #madewithlove Instagram page, where he shared the news of his latest hand-knitted triumph, has 1.3 million followers.
