Michael Gudinski, the man dubbed the ‘father of the Australian music industry’, has died at age 68 - but his legacy lives on in this country’s supportive ecosystem for musical talent.
The veteran tour promoter and pioneering independent record label owner passed away at his Melbourne home overnight on Tuesday. The cause of death was unknown as at Tuesday afternoon.
