Controversial publisher Louise Adler has been appointed director of Australia’s oldest literary festival, Adelaide Writers’ Week.
Adler, publisher-at-large for Hachette Australia, will take up the position in early 2022 after outgoing director Jo Dyer delivers her fourth and final Adelaide Writers’ Week festival next March.
